Guitar - £25 p/h
We offer the choice between Electric, Acoustic and Classical guitar tuition with a wide range of styles and genre-specific techniques. We try to keep you as a student keen and interested in the music you want to be playing, as well as help develop and encourage pushing the normal boundaries of music and escaping your comfort zone to develop each musician as an all round performing artist.
Ukulele - £25 p/h
The Ukulele is the fastest growing and one of the most popular instruments around at the moment, and has been for the last few years. At Guitar Freq we don't just teach our students how to play, but we develop them into being able to take a song and transpose it across into other instruments and put your own twist on playing your favourite songs as well as rocking out to all the classics.
Bass Guitar - £25 p/h
Bass Guitar is rich in a variety of playing styles and performance techniques. As a Bassist, you are leading the band or outfit along with the percussion. Timing and rhythm are extremely important, and we look to develop a strong set of listening skills and musical understanding, as with all the instruments we offer tuition in. Be a leader and slap that bass.
Mandolin & Banjo - £25 p/h
Over the last few years we have seen a steady incline in popular folk music and instrumentation coming to the forefront of modern music. The Mandolin and Banjo both when used can add an entirely different dimension to music. From Claw hammer and rolls on the banjo to the fast alternate picking and snappy patterns associated with the mandolin, learn something completely different at Guitar Freq.
